Vince Catania, C.Ped Vince Catania Board Certified Pedorthist Vince grew up as an athlete in Portland, Oregon. After completing his bachelor's degree at the University of Oregon in 1985 he went on to post graduate work at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado. Course work included anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and biomechanics. He furthered his training at Northwestern University school of orthotics and prosthetics and was board certified as a Pedorthist in 1996. Vince has been involved in the study of the human structure and has been building foot orthotics for seventeen years. On a more personal note....Dear Friend, There's no question about it; everybody can benefit from pedorthic services at one time or another. It is my job to assess what combination of materials and fabrication method fit your needs best. Unlike ordinary, over the counter foot aids - which are designed so that many different foot shapes can wear them - Pedorthic Services, LLC evaluates every patient for the correct foot appliance which includes custom orthotics, posting, and corrections. Each foot is evaluated for the most effective casting method which includes digital foot scanning or traditional plaster casts. This allows us to choose the most appropriate combination of materials to meet the application and or medical need. Our philosophy is that if the product is not comfortable, it won't be worn, therefore, it is not doing the job.
